1 Evening
departure from LAX nonstop to London.
Day
2
Late morning arrival in London. Depart London in the
evening flight non-stop to Nairobi.
Day
3 Early morning arrival in Nairobi. We are
met by our local representative and transfer to our
historic hotel situated at the edge of the city in the
midst of tropical gardens. An afternoon visit to the
Raj Yoga meditation and Spiritual Center and time permitting
a visit to
the Swaminarayan Hindu Temple. Evening to relax and
have dinner at the hotel. (B)

4
After a hearty breakfast we journey by road to Ambroseli
National Park lying at the foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro
- the "roof of Africa". We arrive at the luxurious
Amboseli Serena lodge. Built in the style of a Masai
Village and in the shadow of Mt Kilimanjaro, it is one
of the best wildlife viewing locations in the park.
Afternoon tea served at 3:00 PM followed by a wildlife
drive into the park. Evening to relax, meet as a group

5 An early morning wildlife drive to through
the spectacular Amboseli National Park affords us the
opportunity to see lions, cheetahs, Gnus and herds of
Elephants as they come to drink at the at water holes
filled by the water form the melting snows of Mt Kilimanjaro.
We return to the lodge for a full breakfast and have
the rest of the morning for leisure. In the afternoon
we will visit a Masaai farm and see their traditional
farming practices. On route we will visit a local medicine
man. Another wildlife drive in the afternoon and return
to the lodge by sunset. {B,L,D}

6
After breakfast we transfer to the airstrip for an early
morning flight to Nairobi where we meet our guides and
drive to a mountain lodge at the foothills of Mt. Kenya.
In the afternoon we take a guided walk through the forest
and visit the historic Mau Mau caves. The evening is
spent viewing wildlife as they come to drink from the
waterhole just below our terrace at the lodge. (B,L,D)

7 After
breakfast we proceed to
the Shaba game preserve which in addition to its vast
wildlife such as has one of the most fascinating flora
and fauna in all of Kenya. With volcanic peaks, grasslands
and marsh regions this area in inhabited with a large
variety of animals such as lions, leopards and cheetah
and giraffe. After dinner a quiet eveningto reflect
and share our experiences. (B,L,D)

8
After an early wake up call, tea coffee and cookies
we are off on an early morning wildlife drive to explore
the diverse population of wildlife. We then venture
into the villages of the Gabra and Sanburu people. We
will visit their homesteads
and and have an opportunity to experience their way
of life. In the same village we meet with a local witch
doctor and sample the various potions. After a picnic
lunch we then return to our lodge via Buffalo Springs
for dinner and sharing. (B,L,D)

9
After breakfast we transfer to the airstrip for a direct
flight to the Masai Mara game reserve. We fly over the
Laikipia Plains and the Great Rift Valley. We are picked
up by our guides and taken to our luxury tented camp
in the middle of the reserve. Here, in the Mara reside
Rhinos, Buffalo, Ostrich, Gazelle, Hippo. and many more.
An afternoon wildlife drive to visit these great creatures
and then an evening to relax and share our adventures.

Day
10
After an early morning wildlife drive we have a picnic
breakfast at a beautiful site in the Mara. We return
to our camp, have lunch, relax and enjoy the beautiful
gardens surrounding our camp.
Theafternoonbrings a visit to a local Masai community
school where we can spend time with teachers and the
children. Then a return to the camp for dinner and sharing.

11
After breakfast we take a guided nature walk through
the beautiful environment of the Masai Mara and learn
about
the insects, birds and the flora of the region. For
those who are adventures there is an optional balloon
safari over the Mara Plains. This afternoon we will
visit a traditional Maasai Village and witness a mock
ritual wedding ceremony. After an afternoon wildlife
drive we return to our camp for dinner. (B,L,D)
Day
12
The last opportunity for an early morning wildlife drive
and we are off by road through Narok to Nairobi. We
have a farewell lunch at a wonderful Indian restaurant
and have
a day room at our hotel. The afternoon is free for shopping
and exploring. We then transfer to the airport for an
evening flight and our journey home. (B,L)
